Kick-off & Requirements (including Connectivity / EHR)

A technical engineer will contact you to understand your ecosystem and Hepatoscope environment.

System Administrator: Manages the Windows or macOS laptop. Responsible for downloading and installing the ES Series App Store and Hepatoscope using a host Administrator account.
Hepatoscope Software Administrator: Receives license credentials, manages Hepatoscope software settings (institution details, users, EHR connectivity), and performs application updates.
Operator: Any healthcare professional who performs daily patient exams.
Clinician: Provider who reviews and interprets exam results.

Customer Stakeholder: IT department / Third-party vendor (Sys Admin / Hepatoscope Admin) Office Manager / Chief Nurse (Hepatoscope Admin)

Hardware Shipment

Our Operations team coordinates the shipment of your probe(s). Your logistics department receives the delivery tracking information.

Software Installation

Your IT System Admin must log into the designated laptop using a Windows or macOS Administrator account to install the ES Series App Store and Hepatoscope Software.

E-Scopics Support sends a dedicated email “Welcome to the Community” to the designated System Admin including ES Series App Store credentials, tutorials and instructions.

Windows OS Updates

Ensure that there are no Windows OS incomplete or pending updates. Any available OS update shall be installed before installing Hepatoscope.

Download & Install ES App Store

Log into the laptop with an Administrator account. Download and run the installer linked in the Welcome email.

Install Hepatoscope

Launch the ES App Store, log in with the provided email/password. Find "Hepatoscope" in the catalog, select your active license, and click Install.

Restart & Connect

CRITICAL: Close your session or restart the laptop. Plug in the e.C5-1 probe, and you can now launch the Hepatoscope App.

Training Process

To ensure your team is fully prepared to operate Hepatoscope, we provide targeted training sessions based on user roles. This guarantees both accurate acquisitions and confident diagnoses.

Our Clinical Applications Specialist typically comes on-site to provide a 4-hour practical training session for Hepatoscope operators, focused on liver exam repetition . At the end of the training, trainees shall be able to perform an exam with Hepatoscope, collect expected measurements, acknowledge exam success or failure and generate an exam report.

Our Clinical team leads a 1-hour video conference to provides guidance on how to review exam reports, as well as measurements & acquisitions quality, and how to understand exam outcomes.
